IF YOU AGREE WITH THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT REQUEST (PRINTED BELOW) WRITTEN ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE A MISSING LOVED ONE, PLEASE BOOKMARK THIS PAGE AND ATTACH IT TO AN EMAIL TO PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AND HIS STAFF:
"We the people agree with the following request on behalf of all the people who have a missing loved one in their family (conservative estimate: over four million people living in this country*): Please restore, reestablish, and continue to upgrade the Federal National Laws, Programs, Campaigns, and Presidential Memorandums, regarding the search and prevention of missing persons (children). Most of these National Policies, which were created and were starting to be developed, and managed toward reaching their maximum potential and efficiency, from the mid 1980's through the late 90's, and were neglected, altered, and/or completely stopped (over the past eight years), now need to be reestablished, restored, funded, and upgraded to the next level of efficiency, so they are managed and function at the level of efficiency they were originally intended.
* Four million estimate based on the statistic that well over 100,000 long term missing people are currently reported on the Missing Persons NCIC Files. The average number of family members, per family of a missing person, would be 40 - including parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
